Information: Michelle is an accredited psychotherapist (IACP). She has an Arts degree (National University of Ireland, Galway) in Psychology and Sociology, a Masters in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling with Turning Point, (Dublin City University) and a diploma in working with loss and bereavement in childhood & adolescence (Royal College of Surgeons).

Previously Michelle has worked with ProConsult, Institute of Psychotherapy in Galway and Student Counselling, NUIG. With three partners she has developed and set up Galway Community Counselling service (winner of 2010 social entrepreneur award) as well as her own private practice. From working in the United Kingdom with adolescents in the area of special needs and social exclusion, she works from a broad base of experience.

As an integrative therapist, Michelle works with a mix of backgrounds that is humanistic at the core. She draws on a number of perspectives looking at family of origin, inner child, sub-personalities, Jungian imagery, body awareness, body mind and gestalt theory in her work. In addition to working one to one with individuals in her private practice, Michelle works with groups using art and imagery for self awareness and personal development (CPD certification available if required).
