BA in Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy (ICPPD, Galway)I am a qualified psychotherapist and pre-accredited member of the IACP. My path to becoming a psychotherapist was not a straight one, as I began my professional career working in the medical device/pharmaceutical industry. This journey has shaped my appreciation for the many different ways people grow, change and seek support. I am passionate in how psychotherapy and counselling can help people in many situations, not just in a crisis.
My therapy room is open to anyone who feels they would benefit from a listening ear and supportive space to explore what is happening for them. I work with clients experiencing a variety of needs and challenges, including stress, anxiety, depression, loss, grief, work-related issues, OCD and eating disorders.
I use an integrative approach in the therapy room, recognising that each person brings their own unique lived experience. Depending on what feels helpful for the individual, I may draw on different therapeutic modalities, including person-centred therapy, inner child work, intergenerational work, CBT and somatic approaches. I offer a confidential, empathetic and non-judgemental space where clients can feel safe to explore what is happening for them, what may be challenging, or what may not feel right in their lives. Together, the client and I gently explore what is shared in the room, with support towards healing, personal growth and meaningful change.
